“This is a great solo, family or group experience. The half day session starts at the market with an explanation of Thai spices and veggies. From the market to the farm is a 30+ min. car ride. The farm and kitchen setting is exceptionally well set-up and organized. They can handle multiple groups simultaneously but each group has it's own dedicated chef/guide. Our chef/guide was K and he was amazing. We had fun selecting our meals, cooking and eating together. A great experience!”

“Communication prior to trip was first class. What a fantastic day from the start to finish. The stop at the market was super interesting. Being on the river farm was great. The farmers were in the fields preparing the soil for the sticky rice. We had two great instructors Koppi and Katie. “These guys are nice and helpful they explain everything before we get close to the elephants what they said was really true. They said that if we don’t get close to elephants these animals can get upset from people around and in some cases attack the people, so if you are nice with them and feed them in a good manner the elephants are very friendly and when they get sick is easy to help them. If the animals do not trust the people when the get sick no body can help them because they will get mad with people around. So is better to get around them and touch…”

“Amazing Experience! Got picked up from our hotel and taken around the local market to buy the ingredients. We then headed to their home where we were given fruit and water before starting the class. You can choose what dishes you make with options for vegetarians too. The 5 dishes we made were all delicious and they even gave us a recipe book so we can make them at home too! “Our guide, Joe, was very informative. Since he was himself from Northern Thailand, he provided lots of great historical and cultural info. Bike quality was good, batteries fully charged (though one of our group did run out of power, possibly due to heavy use of assist.) Great scenery, visits to temples. Morning time was definitely the way to go to get slightly cooler conditions (our trip was in late November.) Lunch was simple, but good. Staff was very nice.”
