“We had a great day out. Our guide Maki, was very personable. Our driver was safe and showed concern for our daughter who was feeling car sick. The cave was definitely the highlight of the day. The villages were interesting although I was hoping to see more of the people. Apparently you have to go on a different tour and pay extra to see the long neck Karen women. That was a bit disappointing as there were pictures of them on the site when I booked the tour. But still, a great day.”

Dort habe ich einen Überblick über die frischen und regionalen Produkte erhalten und was in der Region um Chiang Mai angebaut und verzehrt wird. Es gab auch eine Kostprobe von leckerem Mais. Die Höhlen von Chiang Dao waren fast leer, als hätte ich sie für mich alleine. Eindrucksvolle Naturgewalt und ein spiritueller Ort. Die Stalaktiten und Stalakmiten sind wirklich sehenswert! “Great guides. Chatty and informative. A wonderful experience on the river Ping. Just about the right length of time. The simple food was at the end. Maybe would have been better ½ way through. Had to get out of the river twice to get kayaks past the 2 weirs. Luckily the guides did the boat dragging as I would have found it hard. The getting out was not easy especially the second place which was muddy and sharp stones. I hurt my foot.”
